"We're sorry to inform you that on Oct. 31, 2008, AOL® Journals has been shut down permanently. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
Thank you,
The AOL Journals Team
Dear AOL Journals user,
The AOL Journals product team wants you to know about upcoming changes that will affect your current experience. As of October 31st, AOL Journals will be shut down permanently. It is extremely important to us that you are able to save your AOL Journals content. We're presently working on a process so that your information can be easily migrated to an alternative blogging platform. You should expect to receive an e-mail within the next week suggesting that you either a) save all of your information manually and find another place to blog or b) opt into the migration plan, where your current Journal will be transferred over to the selected blogging platform.
We appreciate your patience during this transition period. We invite you to bookmark the People Connection Blog where you can read further information about AOL Journals. You can also subscribe to the People Connection Blog RSS feed to stay updated on any changes. The People Connection Blog will be updated often, so please use it as your primary reference point.
Sincerely,
The AOL Journals Team
